Joint V belt can adapt changes of geometrical shape and dimension error of belt wheel race.That brings transverse stiffness and salability and is not easy to vibrate,slap and turn over,it also shows force exertion uniformity, large bearing capacity and adapts to high power drive.
A Section banded V-belts group multiple v-belts by a common backing. This increases the durability of the v-belt due to uniform tension, improved alignment, and increased rigidity. This is important in heavy duty applications where fluctuating load tension and extreme shock loads are a common cause of failure. Most often, banded v-belts have two through 14 (bands). A section banded v-belts are commonly used in lawn and garden, agriculture and industrial applications.

Proper care as below:
Check pulleys and make them aligned. Incorrect alignment may shorten the service belt life.
Check the pulley main components and lubricate the working parts periodically.
Pay attention to the pulley grooves and make sure they are all equal in dimensions.
Check the pulley abrasion and remove any rust, dirt or grease that may influence belt usage.
Ensure heat dissemination of pulley in belt operation.
